We received a call from APS to inform us of a scheduled power outage. It is anticipated to begin on Thursday, April 28th at 10 p.m. with power restored by 5 a.m. Friday, April 29th. It will definitely impact all the hangars and gates at the Bottleneck area, therefore, no electric hangar doors or lights will work, nor will the gates.

As reported in Aero News, FAA Administrator Randy Babbitt is reportedly considering tacking a surcharge onto renewal fees paid by pilots. The surcharges would be based on the number of hours a pilot flies in any given year.
