I have been saying for a couple of years now that our airport needs Light Sport Aircraft (LSA). Not only for the aging population of pilots who may lose their medical but still want to fly, but also for those whose budget is calling for something just a bit less expensive than the standard SkyHawk or Cherokee. What I really didn't anticipate, and I am embarrassed I didn't take this into careful consideration, is how many dreams LSA's could make come true for those with life threatening illnesses and injuries.
Check out these awesome stories and how LSA's and the great organization "Able Flight" are making the dream of flight come true: http://ableflight.org/component/content/article/65.html
Pictured above right is the newest LSA to come to the Prescott Airport.
