As promised to our readership, we have begun the work of collecting the written, oral and photographic history of Prescott aviation and Arizona aviation in order to publish to the web. This morning, I met with Nancy Burgess, Historical Preservation Specialist, City of Prescott.
To say that she was a plethora of information would be an understatement as I viewed photos, articles and written histories of Prescott Aviation dating back to 1913.
I will keep you all up to date on this work and be looking for "History Tips: Vortices of the Past" which will be a column dedicated to the development and publishing of our unique and important aviation legacy here in Prescott, Arizona.
