PRESCOTT - In the revenue-strapped environment at Prescott City Hall, consultant contracts are getting a new level of scrutiny.
This week, for instance, Prescott City Council members spent the better part of an hour discussing a $4,200 match for a federal grant at the airport, as well as a $72,000 contract for "pavement management services."
The Federal Aviation Administration grant for a wildlife hazard assessment at the airport especially generated a host of council comments.
