I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for you patience during the recent run of construction on the airport. It has been a long couple of weeks but the projects are nearing completion.
The only outstanding items remaining to be completed on the Twy C pavement preservation and airfield marking project are the punch list items and the installation of the permanent markings on Twy C after the 30 day work stop period. The seal coat has been applied to Taxiway C and the new markings have been installed. All across the airport you will see the enhanced centerline markings and the surface painted hold short markings. The picture below is an example of what the intersections now look like.
The City will be doing some additional remarking in the next couple of weeks if the weather holds via night closures. Please be sure to check the NOTAMs for the various closures. We expect the rest of the closures will have a minimal impact upon the airport operations.
