Nuclear Fallout Map, hitting west coast-U.S.-- FALSE MAP

Can anyone confirm or dispute this?  Perhaps readers can forward to someone in NOAA or someone in weather at ERAU for map of weather, wind patterns, etc. to give a synopsis of possible scenario. Thank you readers.  NOTE: For informational purposes only.  We cannot confirm or deny the actual effects of fallout.  The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, EPA or other governmental agencies may have more info regarding this situation.
FALSE MOST LIKELY:  According to some of our reader population, here's some clarification on the accuracy of the Nuclear Fallout Map below:
"The meltdown would have to involve a major explosion in the kilotons to eject a number of particles sufficient to affect us this far downwind. All indications are that the meltdown is only having local health effects.

Snopes negates the legitimacy of the nuclear fallout map": http://www.snopes.com/photos/technology/fallout.asp

This is the page we got this fallout map from:  http://britishcolumbiachemtrailalert.wordpress.com/2011/03/12/nuke-alert-japanese-nuclear-meltdown-prevailing-winds-of-radiation/

I hope we can get some expert opinions to write in on the blog for us...

Last I heard, this is a grossly over exaggerated Photoshop job. Even if there were an uncontained explosion, the amount of radiation that would reach the U.S. would expose each person to less than one day's worth of radiation. The half life of the stuff they are using in their plants is very, very short. Basically this whole thing has been overhyped and is nothing to worry about here in the U.S.

It would be nice if Bloggers/web designers would realize that it is difficult to read Red text on a dark Grey or Black background or vice versa

The admin for blog / web probably set this for emphasis, or it was done by "post-er". Other comments are not in red..... Regardless, check your screen settings for resolution.

Who cares about the color in this instance? Clearly done for emphasis (ummm "meltdown" is DefCon Red in my book) and obviously the person wasting his/her time on doing a "color review" read the content---info got shared, job done.....Just glad Snopes has said its not a concern at this point, although things don't look good over there right now....
